Delaney + Michael | Romantic Day at Alderman House in Fort Myers

A romantic day at Alderman House was the perfect setting for Delaney and Michael’s wedding. These two have known each other since high school, and after more than 13 years together, their connection was so deep, easy, and full of JOY.

They were so much fun to photograph!

From the quiet moments in the morning to the packed dance floor later that night, their day was filled with genuine emotion and so. much. fun.

Delaney started the day getting ready with her girls in matching black sets. Talk about chic! The energy in the room was relaxed and joyful, with laughter bouncing around as final touches were added. Her look was timeless and modern, with soft makeup and hair that let her natural beauty shine. Michael’s reaction during their first look said everything. The second he saw her walking toward him through the gardens, his face lit up, and the moment felt completely their own. I will forever love capturing first looks.

This venue in Fort Myers is such a beautiful blend of old Florida charm and elegant architecture.

Palm trees lined the walkways, white stucco walls reflected the afternoon light, and every corner felt intentional without being overdone. The ceremony took place outdoors, surrounded by loved ones and framed by lush greenery. I mean, talk about a DREAM! Delaney walking down the aisle with her dad was one of those moments that felt so emotional, and I was tearing up a little behind my camera!

This Romantic Day at Alderman House was just perfect.

The vendor team truly brought this wedding to life. The in-house planning and coordination made the entire day flow seamlessly, while West and Rock’s floral designs added an ethereal touch that felt elevated without overpowering the space. Unbreakable Beauty created makeup and hair looks that photographed beautifully from start to finish, and the rentals from Plithos Event Rentals and Ultimate Events helped transform the reception space into something both elegant and inviting. I got to capture the day alongside Loveworks Wedding, an amazing videographer.

As the sun dipped lower, guests gathered for dinner and drinks! All catering was by So Eventful Catering, and it was delicious. They also had a gelato service by Birdies Geloto… I’ve been dreaming about it ever since. It was a huge hit with the guests!

Once the music started, the celebration really took off.

Delaney and Michael’s first dance turned into a full-on party, (DJ’d by Johnny Rich!) with friends cheering them on and joining in under string lights and palm trees. The night ended exactly how it should, with everyone on the dance floor and the couple soaking in every second.

A romantic day at Alderman House is hard to beat, and Delaney and Michael’s wedding was a perfect reflection of their story. Thoughtful details, an incredible vendor team, and a couple who truly love being together made this a day worth remembering.
