Chelsea + Griffin | Classy & Elegant Wedding at St. Pete's Urban Stillhouse
Chelsea and Griffin’s wedding at The Urban Stillhouse in St. Pete, Florida, was the perfect mix of classy & elegant. It was honestly completely unforgettable. Even when the weather threw every curveball possible, these two handled it all with so much grace and joy. It was really cool to see their commitment to their day, and keeping the true meaning of their wedding at the center.
They had to switch ceremony locations twice in the weeks leading up to their day, and when rain started pouring just hours before, the final plan came together beautifully inside their reception venue. The cozy glow of candles, wood tones, and florals… it felt like it was meant to be.
This venue is one of my favorites in all of St. Pete. Every corner has texture and warmth, from the exposed beams to the dramatic stone fireplace.
I’ve photographed here several times (and actually shot the first wedding they ever hosted!), but it never loses its magic. It’s a really solid choice if you’re a Florida bride looking for a dream venue.
The ceremony space was lined with white roses and clouds of baby’s breath that perfectly framed the altar. Even though it wasn’t their plan A, it didn’t look like a plan B. It was gorgeous.
The mix of candlelight and florals gave everything that romantic, classy & elegant vibe that fit Chelsea and Griffin perfectly.
Chelsea looked stunning in her strapless gown from Isabel O’Neil Bridal. It was simple, timeless, and chic. And it photographed beautifully! I loved the texture overlay she used as well. BEAUTIFUL. Her hair fell in soft waves, and her pointed white heels were the perfect finishing touch. Griffin wore a black tux with a green bow tie that tied in beautifully with the bridesmaids’ emerald satin gowns.
After portraits outside the venue, the celebration continued inside where everyone danced, laughed, and toasted to this incredible couple. The fireplace glowed, the drinks flowed, and every guest couldn’t stop smiling. As a Florida wedding photographer, this felt like a dream evening to capture.
Chelsea slipped into the cutest short feathered dress for dancing, and tied it all together with those same white heels: aka total party perfection.
What I loved most about this day was how present Chelsea and Griffin were.
Even with all the last-minute changes, they didn’t let anything steal their joy. Their wedding was classy & elegant from start to finish, but also full of real belly-laughter together. And those little moments that showed who they truly are.
