Haley + Zachary | Bella Cosa Lakeside Wedding

Haley and Zachary’s wedding at Bella Cosa was one of those days that sticks with you. The venue sits right on the lake in Lake Wales, Florida, and it has this dreamy, old-world charm that feels straight out of a romantic story. Soft, weathered walls. Grand archways. Towering oak trees dripping with Spanish moss. As a Florida wedding photographer, it’s the kind of place where every direction looks like a photo waiting to happen.

Haley looked stunning in her fitted lace gown, with delicate straps and a long, airy veil that caught the breeze throughout the day. She carried a classic white bouquet with roses and soft greenery. Zachary wore a black suit and tie, which looked so sharp against the soft tones of the venue. Their wedding party matched the elegance of the setting. The bridesmaids wore long champagne dresses that moved beautifully in the wind, and the groomsmen wore black suits that kept everything clean and timeless.

Bella Cosa is unforgettable.

If you’re a Florida bride who loves all things romantic, take notes! This venue is just something extra special. I had the honor of shooting a stylized session here a while back, and it was fun to return for the real deal.

And this day was extra special for me because Haley’s brother is one of my closest friends from high school. He was also my own wedding photographer. (!!) I stepped in as associate photographer for this day, since he was a groomsman, and it was an honor to capture these moments for their family.

The ceremony took place under a massive oak tree, with moss hanging low over the aisle.

The sunlight filtered through the branches in the prettiest way, casting a golden glow over everything. Felt a little like the weather was showing off for their big day.

Rows of white chairs framed the space, with lush florals at the front. It felt peaceful and intimate, even with a big group gathered.

The courtyard reception was just as beautiful. Long tables were set with gold accents, taper candles, and greenery. The string lights overhead made the whole space feel cozy once the sun began to set. It was one of those receptions where guests settled in with ease. Good food. Good music. Lots of laughter. These are the best kinds of days!

And the party did not disappoint.

Haley and Zachary danced the night away, sutrrounded by friends and family. The energy was high, and everyone was fully in the moment. The sparkler exit at the end was the perfect finish. They ran through a tunnel of cheering guests and kissed under the lights while everyone celebrated around them.

Bella Cosa is a venue I would shoot at again in a heartbeat.

The architecture, the light, the grounds, the people who gather there… it all comes together in such a natural, effortless way. If you’re dreaming of a romantic lakeside wedding, this place is truly something special.
