Taylor & JT | Colorful Wedding at Mill Pond Estate
I have been SO excited to share this wedding on the blog, especially after it got such a warm welcome on my Instagram (here). Taylor and JT’s celebration at Mill Pond Estate was incredible from start to finish.
From the moment guests arrived beneath the sprawling oak trees to the packed dance floor at the end of the night, every part of the day was everythhinnngg joyful, relaxed, and completely true to them.
These two have been together since their college days, and after years of building a life together (and becoming proud dog parents along the way!), they officially became husband and wife surrounded by the people who love them most.
A Ceremony Full of Color and Heart
After a really sweet first look under the trees together, sharing private vows… these two parted ways to get ready for their ceremony.
The ceremony took place beneath the shade of grand oak trees draped with Spanish moss. A VIBRANT floral arch overflowing with oranges, blues, pinks, and yellows created the perfect backdrop as Taylor and JT exchanged vows.
I’m forever obsessed with how they leaned into color for this celebration.
One of my favorite details was the wedding party attire. The bridesmaids wore a gorgeous mix of colorful dresses in bright florals, soft pastels, and bold textures that perfectly complemented the garden party aesthetic. JT and his groomsmen looked classic and polished in dusty blue suits with warm brown shoes and cheerful floral accents. The groomsmen added such a nice anchor color to the bridesmaids… it was just so cohesive and well planned!
Mill Pond Estate Reception Details We Loved
The reception space was every colorful wedding lover’s dreammmm. Inside the sailcloth tent, guests were welcomed by:
Bright, garden-inspired floral arrangements

Warm wood farm tables and cross-back chairs
A romantic, open-air atmosphere

The Party Everyone Will Remember
Once the formalities were over, the celebration kicked into high gear. Taylor changed into a fun white reception dress that was perfect for dancing, while guests grabbed cowboy hats and filled the dance floor. The energy. was. contagious.
From candid laughs to light-filled portraits and one unforgettable dance party, this wedding was packed with the kind of moments that make wedding days so special. Nobody was worried about being perfect or posed. Absolutely everyone was focused on having fun, and as a Florida wedding photographer, I can confidently say: those are moments always make the best photos.
