Hideaway Beach Club on Marco Island | Mia + Will

Mia and Will’s love story was one of those beautiful ones where they had to wait for the right timing, but when it was right?? The rest was history. And it was such an honor to capture the celebration of their love during their wedding at Hideaway Beach Club on Marco Island.

After meeting during their freshman year at FAU in 2019, Will spent nearly a year asking Mia on a date before she finally said yes. It didn't take long for them to realize they had found their forever. Even through a season of long distance living on opposite sides of Florida, they remained each other's best friend until Mia eventually moved to Naples. Their laid back proposal on Shell Island was so perfectly fitting to how comfortable and right they are together.

And their wedding day matched the vibe! It was a day filled with allllll that genuine joy that wedding photographers dream about.

A Relaxed Morning by the Water

The day began with soft coastal light pouring into the beautiful bridal suite. Mia slipped into a silky white getting ready robe, while her bridesmaids wore matching blush pajama sets. I love the girlhood moments that happen at the start of a wedding day. It never gets old to capture your friendships, alongside your love story.

The morning was full of laughter, true hype for the celebration ahead and maybe more than one time when everyone teared up in excitement for their friend.

Wedding Portraits at The Hideaway Beach Club

One of the best parts of photographing weddings at this venue is the variety of beautiful backdrops all within a short walk. We’re talking: a palm lined entrance to the quiet beach, and lush tropical landscaping everywhere. Each location gives a different feel while keeping the day flowing smoothly.

Will and Mia decided to do their first look on the grand staircase near the venue, and it was somehow equally grand and intimate. The look on Will’s face when he saw his bride was everything. He had waited so long to see her as his wife… the full circle moment was beautiful.

A Stunning Beach Ceremony

These two got married on the beach during the afternoon. Surrounded by white flowers, and their wedding party in black, they said “I Do” in the late afternoon light. Everyone cheered. It was such a big, wonderful, happy moment.

Afterward, we snuck off to take newlywed photos on the beach before the celebration that evening. These two had such a newlywed glow. We wandered the beach and I held back so they could have that moment of “oh my god we just got married” together. Then we went back to the venue to take wedding party photos with their best friends.

A Fun-Filled Reception

As the sun set, guests gathered inside the stunnninngg waterfront ballroom where clean white décor, black accents, and candlelight created this elevated atmosphere. The evening quickly shifted from heartfelt moments, to a packed dance floor. From their grand entrance and cake cutting to lively dancing and a fun bubble exit, it was just one of those nights that was so completely full of excitement and love.

Mia and Will's wedding was absolutely stunning in every way. From the connections to the decor to the dreamy beach portraits. If you’re thinking of getting married on March Island, consider this your sign to consider the Hideaway Beach Club. Because wow, was it a beautiful backdrop.
